Ok yada yada, he's directing The Last Airbender movies, we all know that....

But who knew that Shyamalan is trying to make the last airbender pg-13 or rated R?! What the hell??!!??!?!?

(not that i care, im old enough to see it) But this is a children's movie. Nickelodeon, man! Wtf are you going to put in it that's going to make it so difficult to make the movie pg!!!

His direct quote:

“It will be tough to keep it PG from PG-13. It will be tricky. I don’t know how to make a PG movie so that’s going to be much harder, because with R, everything was no problem,”

I know what he means by the quote, but if you cant stick with a simple pg rated movie, maybe you shouldn't be directing the fucking film in the first place when it was originally a kid's tv show. Common sense. (thats the thing that basically pissing me off)
I think that they should've gotten a directer that has experience making PG rated movies. Not crappy R rated ones. (sorry to his fans, but lets face it, most of his movies suck)

Ok really. I sort of understand if its pg-13 with all the martial arts and what have you. But R? Really? Geeze I swear are you going to make Katara and Aang have sex in the movie or something? (Refuring to the actual ATLA show format.) Sorry Zutarians.
But really, come on. R is a little too extreme. Freaking Noah Ringer (guy that play's Aang) is 12!! Learn how to rate you damn movies, Shyamalan!
